Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow, OK are located in far southeastern Oklahoma. Most of the Broken Bow Lake Cabins are within a 3 to 3 1/2 hour drive from the Dallas area and approximately four hours from Oklahoma City.

With miles of hiking trails & one of the most beautiful lakes in the south central Mid-west, Broken Bow Lake & Beavers Bend offer families a chance to enjoy the outdoors & get their feet wet. Broken Bow Lake, surrounded by towering pine trees, is a great place for fishing, water skiing or even scuba diving. Broken Bow Lake & Beavers Bend areas also feature miniature golf, go cart tracks, and horseback riding. Cedar Creek Golf Course, operated by the State of Oklahoma, is a challenging but beautiful course that is built on the shores of Broken Bow Lake.

For night life, head out to the nearby community of Hochatown for live music or a local winery called Girls Gone Wine. You’ll find places offering great eats where you can sit in the clear night air and enjoy the deck and the sounds of the forest.

The Mountain Fork River, which runs through Beavers Bend State Park, is stocked with trout that are large enough to keep. Some segments of the river are dedicated for trophy fish. Trout love the clear, cold water of the Mountain Fork River, as do canoeists, kayakers, and vacationers who float or paddle boat the river. Just a short thirty-minute drive away is the nationally recognized Museum of the Red River, rich in Native American and local history including a dinosaur dug up on the banks of the Mountain Fork River.
